TWA was much more than I expected. It delivered on all of the surface level expectations. Gorgeous setting, awesome fly fishing, great food. The real value was hearing of other men's battles and feeling comfortable sharing my own. The conversations were cathartic, enlightening and motivational.

I have never been in such a more meaningful men's retreat (and this is much more than a men's retreat in all of my hears of being a Christian.) This is the shot in the arm of the spiritual medicine I needed in my relationship with Jesus Christ. This is the second time I have had such a fire in my heart for Christ.

I found or found my heart again at TWA. It was a grace saturated week, and I desperately needed it. I suspect most men also need to find their hearts too.
TWA gave me the safety and strength to examine my relationship with God, the fellowship of men whose experiences supported me in my journey, and a plan to move forward with God in my life and with my family…It also taught me how to fly fish.
An amazing adventure into life with Christ and how brothers in Christ use truth, transparency and accountability to be apprentices of Jesus to pass on love and grace to others.

This was not what I thought it would be. The fishing was wonderful, but the fellowship and discipleship was the most important and beneficial aspect of the week. It made me re-evaluate my spiritual life and opened up a new appreciation of what it means to walk with Jesus and God.
